I bought this wonderful hand-carved English chess table in north beach San Francisco in xxxx. I purchased it new for $800. The table is very compact bc the sides fold down. There are elegant leather-plated drawers on either side of the table which hold several chess sets, playing card, etc..
The feet are made to look like claws The table needs refinishing which is why I am pricing it very low. Trust me when I say that every chess practitioner's heart will melt when they see this gem!
My story is that I moved to Saigon 3 years ago where I am still running a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy. Hence, I have limited time for chess and shipping overseas is pricy. :(
