Job Description
As an Applications Engineer you will work closely with marketing, field applications engineering, and product engineering. You will collaborate with customers and the factory to define and develop products and solutions for OLED applications. You will also translate high-level product features into product technical requirements and supervise internal activities to meet customer commitments to design, test, and deliver products. Additionally you will effectively and accurately communicate technical product status to management.
In this role your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
&#xxxx; Provide prompt technical support on any customer opportunities or issues raised by the FAE, Sales, or ESG teams
&#xxxx7; Develop a detailed and steadily increasing knowledge of product
&#xxxx7; Know and communicate feature differences between all product families and product densities
&#xxxx7; Provide validation support to customers as needed
&#xxxx7; Provide failure analysis debug support for FAE’s/customers in your region
&#xxxx7; Escalate complex issues requiring engineering support to the applicable Global AE.
&#xxxx; Contribute to product collateral review of all products (datasheet/technical notes, etc.) prior to approval
Successful candidates for this position will have:
• A minimum of five years of LCD / OLED design, product, test, support, system, or applications engineering experience
• Demonstrated problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• The ability to be highly organized, self-motivated, and disciplined.
• The ability to work with other engineers across multiple disciplines, as well as customers of various positions.
• Solid personal computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word).
• The ability to develop and evaluate customer use models to translate customer use into device specifications. (Preferred)
