Job Description
Senior Software Engineer
Senior Software Engineer will work closely with engineering team and marketing to define and develop product demo for products in the USA. The candidate will also involve driver development, FPGA debugging, and silicon bring up on the evaluation board.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Understand overall product and demo requirement, develop the software package for the product and port to various platforms based on Marketing request. Additional responsibility is to work with customer to support in porting their software on Toshiba platforms and products.
Candidate is responsible for Software Development and support for Demo Platforms under Linux or Android or Windows. Development of demo system using 3rd party HW/SW platforms around LINUX, Android, Chrome, and/or Windows OS’s and Interaction with customers for support is required.
Required Experience:
BS or MS with 8-10 years of experience in Embedded Firmware and Test Application on ARMs Platforms
Embedded System Programming environment with Video/Audio and Camera applications
Experiences with Real Time OS, Linux, Android and Windows programming environment
Device Driver Development and porting to various Software platforms are required
Test Application design, implementation and execution for the silicon bring up with FPGA and Silicon Evaluation
Customer support experience with travel flexibility
Familiar with industrial standards drivers such as MIPI, Network and connectivity (High Speed Interface) will be a plus
BS CE/CE/EE with 5+ years programming experiences, MS is preferred
Programming Languages Required - C (C++, ARM and other processor assembly a plus)
