Free your voice! Sound, speak, and sing your truth with more confidence and freedom. My name is Amber Field, and I am a professional singer and vocal teacher/coach. I was featured in San Francisco Magazine's Best of the Bay for yoga music. I specialize in helping people free their voices. I teach a classical style of singing that emphasizes breath production, an open throat, sound placement ("the mask"), projection, and vocal tone/brightness. In addition, I employ a variety of techniques including sound meditations, vocal expressive arts, vocal improv and play, drama therapy, and movement with sounding to help people feel the resonance of sound in their bodies and to creatively and freely express themselves.
My lessons are playful, deep, fun, healing, supportive, and tailored to your needs. I understand how scary the journey can be of freeing your voice and expressing yourself, and I support you in the process with sound techniques and lots of encouragement, care, and a safe space. I can help you create songs and prepare for performances and presentations.
