Senior Manager SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting - Leading Technology Company (San Jose, CA) in San Jose, California For Sale

Fast growing South Bay based Pre-IPO technology company seeks a Sr Manager SEC Technical Accounting to build out the function with the goal of an IPO. Ideal background is a CPA or heavy Manager/Sr Manager from Big 4 who has had complex debt structure experience and IPO experience. This person will own all of SEC reporting and Techncial Accounting and will eventually build out their team. The role will be hands on in the beginning. Requirements: 10+ years combined public accounting and corporate technical accounting experience (i.E., familiarity with FASB, SEC and financial reporting experience) Minimum 5 years Big 4 experience Substantial experience in and working knowledge of authoritative GAAP accounting research and application When something isn t working, you shift gears quickly, and come up with a new approach and renewed energy to tackle any challenge You shine when handling multiple assignments and finish every project/meeting every deadline on time and with great aplomb Experience with Microsoft Office, NetSuite, detail XBRL tagging, but your best skill is as a Technical Accounting Guru Experience in the multinational business environment Technical knowledge within High Tech Industry, specifically around complex debt and equity structures and consolidations Undergraduate degree in Accounting CPA (Attest) Required
