Senior SEO Strategist is responsible for optimizing our Web sites to make them more search:engine:friendly, thus elevating our positions in search results. This will help us improve the volume and quality of traffic to FindLaw from natural search referrals.
Job Requirements
: Work closely with another SEO Strategist to manage day:to:day aspects of our SEO program:
: Keyword research and competitive benchmarking
: Develop and document detailed website recommendations
: Work with content and creative teams to execute recommendations
: Measure and report on business impact (ROI)
: Continue to refine SEO strategy for FindLaw, LawInfo, and SuperLawyers
: Work cross:functionally to align SEO goals with Marketing, Product, and Technology strategy
: Periodically conduct analysis and review of SEO efforts and results to derive actionable insights and create programs to increase SE visibility, drive incremental traffic, and, ultimately, customer acquisition and higher engagement
: Track, report, and analyze SEO performance on a weekly basis
: Contribute to website strategy by translating qualitative or anecdotal data into recommendations and tactics for revising the strategy, where appropriate
: Collaborate with our PPC Team to identify keywords for further SEO optimization. Qualifications
Experience
: 5+ years of Search Engine Optimization experience, preferably for sites with :1M monthly visits
: Expert:level knowledge of SEO, and proven ability to remain current in this rapidly shifting space
: Thorough understanding of Social Media's evolving influence on search and SEO
: SEO features such as Rich Snippets, Knowledge Graph, and Google+ SEO opportunities
: Deep understanding of web technologies and experience with Information Architecture
: Experience implementing Social Media campaigns on FB, Google+, and Twitter, a huge plus
: PPC/SEM optimization experience for Google, Yahoo or Bing accounts, a plus
: Proven ability to deliver valuable business insights based on multiple data sources available in the organization and search traffic tools
: Experience working with, inspiring and influencing cross:functional teams
: Proven ability to work well independently on assigned tasks, as well in a team:setting
: Ability to plan, organize and establish priorities with significant analytical, logical and strategic thinking skills.Knowledge/Skills
: Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills

: Experience working with popular CMS such as Drupal, Adobe CQ5, or WordPress, a plus
