Top ranked Design Building Electrical Engineering & Electrical Construction Contracting firm actively seeks Entry Level Electrical CAD Drafter to join our electrical construction document production team in San Jose, CA. This is a long term, full time employment opportunity.
Electrical CAD Drafter Skill & Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required. Some college is preferred but not required.
- Must be strongly proficient with AutoCAD and able to product electrical construction documents and designs based on Electrical Engineers hand sketches and verbal instruction.
- Applicants that are local to the San Jose area are preferred
- At least 2 years of professional AutoCAD Drafting experience within the electrical engineering, architecture, mechanical engineering, or construction industry is preferred. But we are also willing to consider completely entry level AutoCAD Drafters that have a strong interest in the electrical engineering & electrical construction contracting industry.
- Must have strong interest or experience doing electrical CAD drafting for the electrical engineering & electrical construction contracting industry.
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. This position is not eligible for employee sponsorship
Electrical CAD Drafter Role & Responsibilities:
Working closely with our team of Electrical Engineers & Electrical Designers, this Electrical CAD Drafter will be responsible for generating professional quality finished electrical construction / installation AutoCAD drawings from markups made by the Engineering & Design teams design set of drawings. Generate Record Drawings and maintain file as required.
