Team Description:
This team is chartered with delivering common routing stacks deployed in multiple products across Ericssons product lines. This will allow for uniform network management, full interoperability between Ericsson products. This will eliminate redundancies and inefficiencies, and add savings from non:duplication of features across different stacks.

Job Description:
The primary responsibility of this position is full life:cycle development of routing and bridging stacks that play a pivotal role in all of Ericssons networking solutions. These stacks will support Packet Core, IMS, Radio/RAN, IP, MPLS, Optical, Metro, Edge Routing, L2/L3 Switching, etc.
Youll have ample opportunity to get hands on experience on many L2/L3/Multicast/MPLS related protocols.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Familiarity with Bridging fundamentals and L2 table management involving MAC,VLAN,LAG is a plus
* Familiarity with MPLS, MPLS protocols such as LDP/RSVP:TE and MPLS VPNs.
* Familiarity with routing protocols such as OSPF/ISIS/BGP and multicast protocols
* Proficient in C
* Multi:threaded programming
* Good understanding of routing infrastructure, Layer 2/layer 3 forwarding plane, system infrastructure such as memory, IPC, multi:line card environment.
* Excellent design skills
* Ability to take ownership of functional subsystems and drive the development and testing to completion.
* A team player and fast learner
* Masters degree preferred.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Very solid skills with C
* 8+ years of experience in developing routing software.
* Understands interaction between management, data, and control planes.
* Some experience developing Multi:threaded applications in a high availability Linux environment
* Experience mentoring junior developers
* Team Leadership experience
* BS Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
